Hello Piedpiper lives in the city of Cologne. He is one of the Curators of the Melodica Festival Cologne. With heartwarming and soothing voice he tells his tales about Freedom, Friendship and Protest. Of the good days, the bad days and those in between.
Influences from Folk, Indie and Singer-Songwriter and country mingle in Hello Piedpipers Songs. We hear, Melodicas, Glockenspiel, Akkordeon, Guitar-case Basedrums, Wahsboards and Whistling that are added to his Fingerstyle Guitar play. On stage he uses a Loop Pedal to create little walls of sounds cons that add up and gather within the songs. All of those influences come together to create Hello Piedpipers character that sometimes reminds us of, Paul Simon, Phil Ochs, Fleet Foxes or Ferraby Lionheart. Hello Piedpipers Songs make you want to lay back and relax. Sometimes they also have the power, however, to tear down walls.
Currently he plays intimate concerts on smaller stages of small clubs, living Rooms and bars and played the stages all over Germany. Hello Piedpiper was on tour with Justin Sane, Audra Mae, Honig,Kodaline, Town of Saints and Susanne Sundfor. He also supported Bill Callahan, Thomas Dybdahl, Billy Bragg, Young Rebel Set or the Local Natives.
